Just call me Free Advertising

Beautiful movie that focuses on the sanctity of life. I heard about it on Christian radio and decided I had to see it. Good decision. Inspired by a true story.

Just call me Drowned

Drowned in homework that is!
(Sorry I haven't updated in so long!)

I feel as though all I have done for the last month is sit in the library and try to stay afloat in a flood of homework.

Although that's not entirely true....

...I have had some fun :)

Study party at Red Mango.

I was able to go home for spring break. My family was in Ecuador so I didn't even get to see them, but we decided I should go home and earn some money. My dad's theory is, "If you're not making money, you're spending it." He's a wise man.

On my way home I stopped in Manhattan to watch the state basketball tournament. Both the girls and boys teams from my high school qualified.

The boys made it to finals but lost the championship game. 2nd place is the best that Meade High School boys have ever done.

Practically the whole town came up to Manhattan for the weekend so it was fun to connect with friends.
Uncle Dave and Uncle Wayne were also in Manhattan that weekend so we hung out together almost the entire time. I have THE greatest uncles in the world!

I stayed on the K-State campus for night with my friend Bethany and late one night the fire alarms went off, so we had to stand outside in the cold for about an hour while the fire department came and checked to make sure everything was okay. False alarm.

It was also Fake Patty's Day on campus so there were drunk kids everywhere. Interesting Experience. Ha!

Then I went home and stayed with my grandma while I worked during the weekdays. I love my job. And hanging out with my grandma. We played lots of cards and listened to books on cassette. Very relaxing break from the Grace Library.

Then I drove to Iowa to see a special someone and came back to Grace to start the homework cycle all over again.

Kami came to see me this week so we went downtown to our favorite store, Vintage, and tried on some awesome dresses and ate at Spaghetti Works. It was good to catch up with her again.
